Spouse: On March 11, 1920 in Newton, Massachusetts, Marie at age 21, married William Fenton Hunnefield (B: 1/5/1899, Dedham, MA > D: 8/28/1976, Nantucket, MA). Hunnefield attended Northeastern University where he played on the baseball team. He was also a professional baseball player. He was an infielder who played for the Chicago White Sox (see baseball card) and Cleveland Indians of the American League and the Boston Braves and New York Giants of the National League in a six-season career from 1926 to 1931. He is also know have spent some time with the Toledo Mud Hens in 1930. In the off-season, Hunnefield was an accountant and often reported late to spring training because it coincided with tax season.
